Again Jesus spoke to them saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” John 8:12. This is the theme verse for the 37th Biennial LWML IED Convention to be held at the Marshalltown Best Western Regency Hotel and Convention Center, June 20-21, 2014. The LWML women of the Eldora Zone invite you to join them for an inspirational and fun convention. Linda Reiser, LWML President from 2003-2007, will be the keynote speaker. We will also hear from Mission speakers Rev. Randall Golter, Executive Director of the Office of International Mission and Rev. Andrew Richard, pastor of St. Silas Lutheran Church, North Liberty, Iowa.

There will be Bible Study, Gifts from the Heart, servant events, great speakers, YWR’s, fellowship, and more. Be lifted in love and the word and “Rejoice in the Light” at the 2014 LWML IED Convention.

The convention registration form and the room reservation form are included on this page and in the most recent issue of the Alive newsletter. Rooms are available in the Best Western Regency or the Super 8, located side by side and sharing a parking lot. This location is an easy drive to the intersection of highway US 30 and IA 14.
