LWML Convention Pastor’s Lunch

Friday, June 12th, 11:30 am

The Graduate Hotel of Iowa City

All Pastors of Iowa East District are invited to attend the Luncheon before the Opening Worship Service of the LWML Convention. The lunch is sponsored anonymously out of love and appreciation for the Pastors that serve us in Eastern Iowa.

The Opening Worship begins immediately following lunch at 1 pm.

Offerings

2 Offerings will be collected at Convention to support 1) the 2026-2028 Mission Grant recipients and 2) the LWML IED Endowment fund

Filling the Watering Can – Convention Mites Challenge

Challenge: Be sure to bring your “Mites” to help us to “Fill the Watering Can” while at the LWML IED 2026 Convention. let us raise additional donations towards IED Mite Offerings!

Gifts From the Heart

Gifts from the Heart will focus on children by collecting diapers and Christian books for babies and children and gift cards to buy books. These items will be distributed to Shelters and Women/Family centers in Benton, Linn, and Johnson County.

Assembling Plastic Mats for the Homeless

All Young Women of the LWML, including all previous YWRs are invited to join the Young Women’s Lunch and fellowship.

*YOU are invited to grab your box lunch on Friday of convention for lunch from 11:30 am-12:30 pm and join us!

The Convention Choir will receive their music via email and have a rehearsal on Friday morning. The YWR’s and TEENS are also welcome to sing with us.

Young at Harps will provide music Friday evening.

The Graduate Hotel has a lovely spacious convention venue and unique and interesting guest rooms. The hotel is near the University Campus, shops, museums, and restaurants.
