The Convention Committee is excited to welcome you to Iowa City in June! We have asked God to lead us as we plan this event to:

- Registration will be ONLINE ONLY at the LWML IED website and goes live on March 1st. Individual Registration assistance is available if needed.
- The Graduate Hotel has a lovely spacious convention venue and unique and interesting guest rooms. The hotel is near the University Campus, shops, museums, and restaurants. Hotel Reservation link is attached to the Registration on March 1st.
- Keynote Speaker is The Most Rev. Dien Ashley Taylor, Bishop and President of LCMS Atlantic District and Pastor at Redeemer Evangelical Lutheran Church, The Bronx, New York.
- The Convention Choir will receive their music via email and have a rehearsal on Friday morning. The YWR’s and TEENS are also welcome to sing with us.
- The hotel chef is planning a special meal for our banquet. Young at Harps will provide music that evening.
- Servant Events include the opportunities to donate blood, make greeting cards and assemble plastic mats for the homeless.
- Gifts from the Heart will focus on children by collecting diapers and Christian books for babies and children and gift cards to buy books. These items will be distributed to Shelters and Women/Family centers in Benton, Linn, and Johnson County.
- Please encourage your pastor to attend the Pastor’s Luncheon on Friday, June 12th at 11:30am!
